Two Cartoons

Two Cartoons are a two-piece, alternative, pop and rock band, formed in Auckland in May 2011, now based in Dunedin. Members, Bradley Craig and Isaac McFarlane, said, "We came up with the name, 'Two Cartoons' because we are serious but playful when it comes to our music. We also write songs about being kids."

Influenced by electro music and bands such as The Hives, and Death from Above 1979, Two Cartoons describe their sound as, “Sun drenched guitars. Rain drenched surroundings. Pretty, soaring vocals. Manic insomniacs. Two piece, two-step, four eyes, loud drums, melodies, harmonies. Lady Gaga with a guitars, with Justin Beiber's sex appeal”.

Two Cartoons combine nostalgic lyrics, vocal harmonies and instrument swapping, in their gritty, garage-rock live shows.
