A close-knit family unit - their jazz and improv roots bred in Auckland's dusky jazz cellars - they have spread their musical wings and taken their talents to all four corners of the globe... Aron is the driving force behind Aronas jazz band and has been based in
Europe for the last five years. Performing recently with US singer song writer star Lana Del Ray, recording/directing for Whirimako Black’s recent release ‘The Late Night Plays’. This year promises to be big, as he is due to embark on a world tour with French indie artist Woodkid, And also a member and currently touring with French hip-hop artist, Abd Al Malik. Eden is the gifted bass player, Leader of The Sun Chasers Collective. Well known for building a solar-powered generator to provide sustainable entertainment, often seen in the parks of Melbourne and Sydney. Last but not least, Matthew on saxophone and synthesiser has his own impressive record of work; playing with numerous bands at any given time, including Lou Reed, Brian Wilson and Mick Nock. He is currently performing with Ethiopian superstar Dereb The Ambassador. As well as being involved in Musica Viva in Schools Touring Program and teaching with the Australian Jazz Workshop. At the forefront of Australasian jazz, this family reunion is set to be an exciting experience for new and old fans of all three.
