formed as a band following a solo performance by frontman david j syndrome.

gadget goose played a handful of smashing shows, went on a south island tour and released two debut albums simultaneously. after this, band members' commitments and available time started draining on the actual and perceived overall vision and spiritual destiny of the band. henceforth the band descended the dark lane to infinity.

syndrome decided to go it alone marking this decision by releasing another album and embarking on a tour of europe.
