Alt Country-Indie Rock - whatever you want to call it Stormbird create a blend of sonic goodness that is guaranteed to knock your socks off, or at least slightly dislodge your jandals.

It all began with two 9 year olds in the backwoods of the Wild West Coast. No songs were written at the time, but a musical alliance was forged that has stood the test of time.

Fortune again smiled upon these two musical hobos when both settled in Wellington in early 2007 and met the two purveyors of sonic brilliance that they needed to complete their musical jigsaw. Stormbird was born.

Currently enticing Wellington audiences onto the dancefloor with a vibrant and intoxicatingly toe-tapping live set.
