Human

About Human from Christchurch

HUMAN formed in early March 1992. Their first album cover for the demo "ORGAN SPLATTERS"

was actually drawn with their logo in place late 1991, showing that the

beginning of HUMAN was planned much earlier. Existing members of that

first line up of the band are Scott (guitars / vocals) and bassist /

vocalist Vaughn, who joined the band during it's infancy just after the

recording of the aforementioned demo and has been a focal member of the

group since May 1992.

After countless shows, releases, songs, tours, interviews etc,

HUMAN have stuck with their own sound and style, completely against the

grain of "popular" metal, the like of which will not be named here.

Yes, while others may be selling out to get their albums sold and

videos shown on television, HUMAN settle for the metal fans to discover

it for themselves. That's the underground way!

It's been almost 3 years since the release of their last CD "BLOOD BUCKET" which spawned a rash of popular tracks and the band spent much of 2008 recording the follow up titled "CADAVER ACADEMY".

In June 2008 the band parted ways with long time drummer Paul and

brought in Nikolas Kissel to the line up. Upon hearing Nik's skill

behind the kit, the band decided that it would be in the best interest

of the group and it's fans if the material they had recorded were to be

scrapped and started from scratch. The bands' frontman Scott explains:

"We want to make the best album we're capable of making. If that means

we should have better drum tracks then so be it - the whole band feels

like it's the best move to make. People waiting for this album will

know it's worth it."
