Spirit House is the second album from

Christchurch band Happy Palace The four piece was formed in 2003 and

released their first, self titled album ‘Happy Palace’ late in 2006. The group

describe their sound as falling somewhere between the ‘Pixies’ and ‘The Flaming

Lips’ Live performances have been known to push

the decibel levels on noise control meters and have left some

venue managers cause for concern, but then this group will never be known for

their ‘Barbecue Friendly’ sound.
