Hailing from Raglan, NZ, Stu Strawbridge is quickly gaining a solid fanbase with his ability to capture, not only audiences, but moments in life, through his impressive collection of poignant and achingly emotive songs. Having worked extensively behind the sound desk for bands such as 48May, Goodnight Nurse and Steriogram, Stu has now made the eagerly anticipated move into a solo acoustic project. The result is the unique and captivating sound of a talented musician destined to leave his mark on New Zealand music.
Drawing inspiration from the likes of Jeff Buckley, Dave Matthews Band, Coldplay and Counting Crows, he combines the sincere lyrics of someone who deals in the heartfelt rather than the contrived, and the musical hooks that never fail to enthrall audiences.
