About 2 Ps Aka 2 Possess Soundz from Tauranga
2PS, aka 2 Possess Soundz, are Dae Anderson on guitar, Gillyz Anderson on bass, and Jay Werahiko and DJ Kohinga on vocals. Lifetime mates from Putaruru, they decided to form 2PS three years ago and have been writing and composing their own unique style of hip hop ever since.
In 2006 2PS entered into the Rhythm Nations competition with their track ‘If You Want to Party’. This won them a professional audio and video recording session with Mai FM, featuring GP and Penny from GPTV.
Following this success 2PS got together with David Atai (aka DMon) from Nesian Mystik who produced their second track titled ‘Girlfriend’. ‘Girlfriend’ has been a successful hit with the fans, being voted No. 1 on the Top 20 in both Hamilton and Whakatane.
They are currently gigging and have performed with groups such as Fast Crew, Chong Nee, Flow on Show and Jigsaw.
