Fate 2 Decide

About Fate 2 Decide from Wellington

'F8 2 Decide'
came about from a bass player (steve taylor) and an acoustic song writer(joe standeven)who both sing in their own right.
Both musicians used to play heavy rock/metal in the past but had added alot of other influences to the current sound.
Having traded the electrics for acoustics they have been told they sound a bit like 'Days of the New, Creed, Hootie and the Blowfish, Alice n Chains and Jethro Tull' Yes the sound is carried by bamboo flute solos as well as guitar.
Now with the electric drum kit playing a strong part also, the rock side has come back to complete their sound and generate a new sound not currently heard, as not many bands have the flute as well as 2 lead vocalists.
Having won the recent 'Vodafone Homegrown' music competition in Wellington where the band won : PA system,, new vodafone fones, music vouchers and played on the main stage(Vodafone Homegrown. The VF Homegrown organisers also organised for 'F8 2 DECIDES' music recorded at Matrix Digital to be sold digitally on itunes, amplifier, digirama, telecom and vodafone download sites.
