Salient is an established rock/metal band in the Waikato consisting of 4 members. Steve is the vocalist, Caleb plays the guitar and does back up vocals, Chris plays the bass, and Streets is on drums.

Powered by the obsession to make metal a part of Hamilton's music scene we have quickly drawn a modest fanbase of mates and strangers alike, playing regular public gigs and at parties.
