Sairalei (say-ra-lay) are an
original alternative trio based in Auckland ,
New Zealand . Acquaintances
from the tender age of 13, Dan Wood and Rob Sanders began playing music
together during their last year of College in 2005. When their original bass
player left the following year, the two went about finding a new musical ally.
After a few failed leads, Caz entered the fray at the end of 2006 as the
missing link in the evolutionary journey to becoming Sairalei. The band has
been forging their own path ever since, building a reputation as a powerful
live act with a strong DIY mentality.
