Spam from Undertheradar
Hi,
I am posting this here due to no response to my support ticket or emails.
I (and alot of others) have concerns about how safe our personal details are on undertheradar. we have ALL (check your spam folders) started receiving new zealand focused spam and phishing attempts to our email accounts that were used to register on undertheradar (ONLY used on undertheradar, and ONLY for ticket purchase - this is my first time on any other part of the site).
My concern is that my utr email address SHOULD NOT be in the hands of people involved in bank fraud, and there should have been no way for them to get at it. My profile is not set to be public and I have never given permission for my email address to be used or sold.
We would really like an explaination about how all our email addresses have been posted in public, and if any of our other data has gone with it. I understand there is a memberlist page that shows most peoples email addresses in plain text with no protection from non-admins, guests or harvest bots, but I cannot find myself on that list so am even more concerned about how mine got out.
I need a response to this today or I will be taking it futher - you are dealing with thousands of customers credit card transactions and we need to know you are adequately protecting our personal information.

 hey there,
thanks for you post - we are investigating possibilities with spam bots.
No emails have been passed on.
The memberlist page is a list of usernames, and some people has chosen to use their email address as their username( when we have recommended not to) when signing up.
thanks, bare with us, and anyone else with similar issues, let is know here.
cheers UTR

PS, UTR's Privacy Statement states 'All data collected through the use of this website will not be passed on to any third party. Info is used for prize verification and newsletters where the user had agreed to.'
If nothing else, this link right here: http://www.undertheradar.co.nz/index.php?task=usersAll&offset=&var=%40 breaks that.

I too have been receiving such emails. Sketchy as. I want to buy my ticket for Strung Out on Friday but I'm dubious about making another purchase until this is straightened out..
