Singer/Songwriter seeking musicians (pianist, guitarist, bassist, cellist etc)

My name is Rhiain, I am in my mid 20’s and am living in Wellington. I am a songwriter and musician and I am looking for fellow musicians who are passionate about music with similar aesthetic and taste. I write music, however, I am wanting to find musicians who will be able to flesh the music out and who are interested in arranging and collaborating. Playing by ear, or having an ability to pick things up without too much direction will be a big plus, as whilst I play piano, guitar and flute my musical knowledge is limited. My goal is to get a band together and start doing gigs locally and to see where things go from there. I want to find musicians who are genuinely interested in pursuing music and are able to commit to regular practices (and hopefully, regular gigs).

My influences are (in terms of my musical aesthetic and style): Fiona Apple, Regina Spektor, Joanna Newsom and Katie Noonan however my musical appreciation extends far beyond just those four.
