Based in Auckland NZ, Broken Records is an independent record label that focuses on suporting; promoting and growing up and coming kiwi rock talent.

Spearheaded by kiwi rock icon James Reid this labels first signing partnership has been with the "The Valves" who acheived significant success with their first big hit "Walking In The Rain".

To any New Zealander James Reid needs no introduction. Frontman for top kiwi rock band "The Feelers", Reid has acheived great success in his own career. Winner of 7 Tuis (NZ's equivalent of a Grammy) with several number 1's and multitude of top 10 hits; four stellar albums and ten years dominating the NZ rock scene; Reid brings a wealth of knowledge and expertises to the label.
