SNOOP DOGG, ICE CUBE & BONE THUGS-N-HARMONY SMOKED OUT AUSTRALASIAN TOUR
Labour Day, Monday 27 October @ TSB Bank Arena, Wellington NZ

Press Release: Andrew McManus Presents is thrilled to announce that living hip-hop legend and one of the greatest rappers and pop culture icons of our time, Snoop Dogg is on his way to New Zealand and Australia!

Joining him is one of the most important and influential figures in rap history, the legendary Ice Cube. Special guests Bone Thugs-n-harmony will be along for the ride, making this an absolute essential show for any hip-hop fan. In a genre where big names come and go just as fast as hit records, Snoop Dogg has managed to stay relevant throughout his 16-plus years in the game.

From music to movies, video games to clothing lines and now his own hit TV show on E! - Snoop Dogg¹s Father Hood, Snoop is truly a household name.

With nine Grammy nominations, and a massive amount of MTV, Billboard, MOBO, BET, and American Music Awards under his belt, his longevity can easily be credited to his musical creativity which can be heard in full force on his latest Ego Trippin album, released in March through Universal Music.

Snoop Dogg began performing at an early age in Golgotha Trinity Baptist Church and rapping and playing piano in the sixth grade.

After several stints in jail, one of his rap songs was heard by acclaimed producer Dr Dre who invited him to audition. From there he became Dr Dre¹s most notable protégé and released his debut album Doggystyle in 1993 through Death Row Records. Doggystyle was the first debut album EVER to enter the US charts at #1, and so began the career of one of the most illustrious rappers of all time.

Ice Cube is recognised as one of the most important figures in rap history period. He began his career with Notorious West Coast Gangsta rap group NWA two decades ago. At the height of the group¹s success, Ice Cube broke away to start his solo career.

His initial release, Amerikkka's Most Wanted (Priority, 1990) sold over a million copies. His sophomore solo effort, Death Certificate (Priority, 1991), a concept album about the fall and rise of the black man, debuted at #1 on the R&B Album chart, #2 on the Top 200 album chart and went on to sell over two million copies. His impressive musical career includes the multi-platinum success of both his double album War and Peace and hit albums Lethal Injection, Bootlegs & B-Sides, The Predator, and the gold certified, independently released Laugh Now, Cry Later. Ice Cube has sold over 10 million albums to date.

Ice Cube¹s 9th solo album Raw Footage (Lench Mob Records/Inertia) will be released here late September and features the singles Gangsta Rap Made Me Do It and Do Ya Thang.

It recently debuted at #1 on the US R&B Chart and #5 on the US Pop Chart.

Bone Thugs-n-harmony sold 10 million records with their first two albums in the mid 90¹s. They won a Grammy Award with their #1 single and hip-hop classic, Tha Crossroads and recently won Favourite Rap Band at the American Music Awards in 2007 after the release of their latest album Strength & Loyalty - a testament to their continued popularity.

The Smoked Out Australian Tour is a unique opportunity to see hip-hop¹s finest together on one bill for one night only. Don¹t miss it -
