A Flight To Blackout NZ Tour

A Flight To Blackout are Christchurch's premier instrumental rock band. Settled, shifting ambience makes way for ecstatic, soaring melodies and through-the-roof crescendos. We are playing three North Island shows in early October in anticipation of the release of our debut album, 'The Unknowable First Cause', which will be the first release on new Wellington alternative/experimental/metal label Sonorous Circle Recordings.

They are gathering together some of New Zealand's best instrumental sonic rock acts, with a view to creating showcases of all the beautiful instrumental music being made in this country. As such, Sora Shima are coming with us from Hamilton to play in Auckland with locals Pegasus; The Body Corporate are hosting us at the King's Arms for the second Auckland show, and Captain Sergeant Major, I.Ryoko, and Morte Vida are joining us in Wellington. These shows will be something very special.
