Are the Smiths going to re-unite
Saturday, 25th October 2008 8:17PMWe recently posted a news item about the strong rumour of Smiths front man Morrissey heading down to NZ next year, with apparently 4 dates nationwide, but now there is fresh hope of a full Smiths reunion.
California festival Coachella has made the group an offer to reform for next years event, but even the mega money might not be enough.
Morrissey has stated in the past ‘I’d rather eat my own testicles than reform The Smiths — and that’s saying something coming from a vegetarian,’
However in recent interviews there has been some positive hints with quotes like ‘The split was a messy affair, but time’s a healer.’
