Michael Jackson Confirmed Dead

After a morning of speculation it has been confirmed by a spokesman for the LA Coroner that Michael Jackson was pronounced dead at 2.26pm local time (9.26 NZ time).
It is believed that MJ suffered a cardiac arrest and was pronounced dead by doctors after arriving at a UCLA Medical Centre in a deep coma. He was 50 years old.
It's hard not to feel sad for ol' MJ and his crazy life - you can only hope he got some peace somewhere along the way.
