Monday, 7th September 2009 8:46AMFlorida post-hardcore dynamos POISON THE WELL roll into Auckland's Transmission Room on Labour Day for their second performance in 2009's calendar year; having set the stage ablaze during their package performance alongside Underoath and Every Time I Die in February.
Now, with a new album 'The Tropic Rot' (the follow up to the universally acclaimed 'Versions') storming the US Billboard charts and creating waves across the global underground, the madmen from Miami bring their firebrand metal/hardcore stylings back to New Zealand for a headlining show at the same venue they destroyed less than a year ago.
With support from locals NEW WAY HOME, TAKE THE WILLING, SUCH IS LIFE and SET ON END, and a public holiday-minded start time of 3pm, this will be a Labour Day to cast off the shackles of the working week and behold true veterans of the live game in their element.....one more time!
