Ooh it's the season for lists, we love a good list here at UTR and will have our Top 5 albums of 09 coming your way in a couple of weeks but for now, Stereogum have posted a very interesting and exciting list of their 25 most anticipated albums of 2010.  We've picked a few of our favourites from the list, starting of course with Liars (!), but first we've had a quick think about what we can look forward to from NZ bands in the new year...

Street Chant
We've been waiting for this one for ages now - being released through Arch Hill.

Collapsing Cities
Almost finishing recording/mastering - no release date.

Die! Die! Die!
Currently writing/recording.

Connan Mockasin - Please Turn Me Into The Snat
22nd Feb - his highly anticipated debut album.

Popstrangers
Released an awesome EP this year and are hoping to release an album sometime next year.

There are sure to be many more but that's all we know for sure at the moment - to the internationals....
