The Haints of Dean Hall
OK, so I know I said there aren’t too many chances to see them live – well, er, they are back. They enjoyed playing the songs so much a super enthusiastic crowd at the Odeon they had to do it again. Their album continues to get top notch reviews, in addition to five stars in the Sunday Star Times the Christchurch Press gave the album four and a half stars, Graham Reid lived it and plenty of other people have been giving them the big thumbs up.
Wednesday 23rd of August, with Jolie Holland at the Kings Arms
Thursday 24th of August, with The Broken Heartbreakers and Steve Abel

Don McGlashan and the Seven Sisters
Having just had the album nominated for Best Produced Album (along with Sean Donnelly and Ed Cake), and on the back of four weeks in the top 20, heaps of great reviews and lots of general goodness Don and his Seven Sisters decided it was time to get into the pub and strum it up!
Saturday 26th August at the Kings Arms with the Reduction Agents and the Nudie Suites.
