Crude Releases New Album - Brut Pop Collection
Tuesday, 13th July 2010 11:08AMCrude is the solo project of Dunedin based musician and artist Matthew Middleton. Middleton has been releasing music as Crude since 1994 and has just released a new album called Brut Pop Collection, a greatest hits of tracks recorded over the past 15 years. We got in touch with Matt and asked us him to tell us a bit about the album, here's what he said:
"Brut Pop Collection is a smoldering assortment of Crude tunes, stylistically tending toward the tuneful and the radio-friendly. 14 songs spanning 15 years of Crudes' career. Glistening and svelte electronic, dirtied up overdriven synth-funk, the ascerbic snarl of a guitarist/skeptic. Love songs, life songs. Live them."
