Grouper Returns For Two Shows In September

Grouper Returns For Two Shows In September

Wednesday, 25th August 2010 12:37PM

Grouper aka Portland's Liz Harris is returning to NZ for two shows next month joined by old pal Pumice.

Grouper and Pumice
Monday 27th September, The High Seas - Auckland
Tuesday 28th September, Happy - Wellington w/Glass Vaults

Tickets on sale now from here at UTR - follow the buy links below.

If you are not familiar with Grouper then change this immediately, she is totally amazing as our own Pumice.

Here's an unofficial video for the beautiful "Heavy Water / I'd Rather Be Sleeping" from her acclaimed 2008 release Dragging A Dead Deer Up A Hill.

And here's an official one for "Hold The Way" from a split with NZ's Roy Montgomery released Dec 2009/Jan 2010.

If you head over to her label Type Records you can listen to all of Dragging A Dead Deer Up A Hill and her debut release Way Their Crept - typerecords.com. For more on Pumice aka Stefan Neville head to sometimes label softabuse.com where you'll find an impressive discography of his work.
