Thursday, 26th August 2010 2:06PM

The gig season is certainly hotting up especially for The High Seas who have just announced their second international show this week. This time it's Nadja, an ambient/noise/drone duo comprised of Aidan baker & Leah Buckareff who are alternately based in Toronto, Canada and Berlin, Germany. The will play at Whammy bar on Tuesday 5th October - click HERE for more info and tickets.

The Highs Seas actually have three international shows coming up in the next two months and to make sure you get a long to all of them they are offering a three show pass which includes:

Grouper (US)
Monday 27th September - The High Seas

NADJA (Canada)
Tuesday 5th October - Whammy Bar

SUN ARAW (US)e
Friday 15th October - Whammy Bar

Click HERE to pick up one of these.

Sun Araw and Grouper both have Wellington dates also - follow the links below.

Here's a video for "I Am As Earth" from Corrasion (2003/2007):

And here's a fan vid (as wast the first probably) for Nadja's cover of "Needle In The Hay" by Elliot Smith which was released on a covers album called The Sun Always Shines On TV in 2008 - and yes they cover that A-Ha song too.
