Press Release:

The luminous Julia Deans is set to hit the road again. Starting November 18, she will be performing songs from her beautiful debut album, Modern Fables, in a series of intimate shows throughout NZ. Some of the shows will be with her band (Richie Pickard and Redford Grenell) whilst others will see Julia taking the stage solo. She will be joined by a couple of special guests at different venues - talented up-and-comers Lisa Crawley and Seth Hapu.

Formerly the front woman of Fur Patrol, Ms Deans has stepped effortlessly into the role of solo artist – delivering some of her most exquisite songs yet in the debut album Modern Fables. At times tinged with folk, at others pure balladry, Modern Fables showcases a consummate talent capable of musical storytelling that moves and inspires.

Keep an ear out for her brand new single 'The Wish You Wish You Had'.
