Despite being well known that their 2010 album This Is Happening would be LCD Soundsystem's last release, maybe it was denial, but we are still shocked and saddened by news that they are indeed calling it quits for good. The confirmation came with an announcement on their site detailing their last show ever...
"lcd soundsystem are playing madison square garden on april 2nd, and it will be our last show ever. we are retiring from the game. gettin’ out. movin’on...."
