Listen To The New Album From Moppy - Mokai
Thursday, 31st March 2011 9:20AMMoppy, the twisted side project from Thom Burton of Wilberforces and Yokel Ono, has just released a full length album Mokai via Arcade Recordings. As with all things Burton, nothing about the album, it's recording and release, came easy but in the end we have another example of just how brilliant a musician he is.
Here's what the label had to say when we asked for a bit of info on the release which you can listen to in it's entirety below.
Always honest and upfront Thom constantly entertains and antagonizes audiences he has a knack for breaking up the band before they put anything out, this time he wiped his MPC but the tapes survived. Mokai will be out on limited addition Cassette Tape (with download code) and via bandcamp. The Tape will be Arcade Recordings 003 all bandcamp revenue go straight to the artist.
