Evermore's latest single Light Surrounding You has gone to number 1 in Australia, the first time in nearly 11 years since a New Zealand band has done so.
The last time a Kiwi band had a #1 single in Australia was April 1996 when OMC's How Bizarre ruled the Australian airwaves and singles chart.
