Liam Finn Announces FOMO Album Release Tour
Undertheradar is pleased as punch to present the return of Liam Finn as he takes his new album FOMO to the country on a nationwide tour this August. Supporting him will be The Drab Do-Riffs who's live reputation is verging on legendary - here are the dates.

Liam Finn will return to New Zealand this August to tour his cracker of a new album FOMO (out Monday 13th June).The new single ‘Cold Feet’ has just gone number one at alternative radio and it continues to storm up the kiwi airplay charts! FOMO is his highly anticipated sophomore album, the follow up to 2007’s I’ll Be Lightning. It’s been a long time coming and fans will be champing at the bit to hear his new songs live.
Liam has also been announced to perform at the Pearl Jam Labour Day concert with The Strokes and Queens Of The Stone Age as well as a string of other events around the world such as the UK’s Secret Garden Party, Australia’s Splendour in The Grass, LA’s Culture Collide Festival and Wilco’s curated Solid Sound Festival.
Liam Finn recently told Billboard magazine “I like seeing a band replicate their record really well, and it's obviously always got that live energy to it. But it's even more exciting when you see a band take the songs you know to a new place." These shows will see the live debut of many of the songs off FOMO and are sure to create an impact on the tour.
The Drab Doo-Riffs are an Auckland five piece with an intergalactic sound and an eccentric live show. You will have heard tracks such as ‘Trouble’, ‘I Wanna Be Spock’, ‘Hot Tanya’ and ‘Ill Equipped’ on the likes of bFM but we think it’s about time they ventured south again to spread the love. Keep an eye out for the release of their third EP ‘A Fistful Of Doo-Riffs’ this September!
