RIP Motorhead's Michael 'Wurzel' Burston
Tuesday, 12th July 2011 10:33AMFormer Motorhead guitarist Michael Burston who also went by the stage name "Würzel" has died at 61 after a struggle with heart disease.
Burston joined Motorhead in 1984 and played with them through till 1996. He played on seven of the groups' albums and had been working on a new release with latest band Leader of Down before his death on Saturday 9th July. He also released two solo albums including an ambient, improvised avant-garde album entitled Chill Out Or Die.
