Amy Winehouse Dead

It comes as sad news today that singer and controversial media darling Amy Winehouse has been found dead.

Police confirmed that the 27-year-old was pronounced dead at her home in North London but the cause of death is as yet unknown.

London Ambulance Services said Winehouse had died before the two ambulance crews it sent arrived at the scene and staff were unable to revive her.

Sadly her death follows a long list of musicians who have all died at the age of 27, known as the 27 Club. They include rock legends Jimi Hendrix, Jim Morrison, Janis Joplin, Kurt Cobain and Rolling Stone Brian Jones.
