Auckland purveyors of performance electronica, Golden Axe, are celebrating the one year anniversary of their album Fantasy Footwork, offering the whole album up for free download. To celebrate the first anniversary of the release of Golden Axe's chart-topping Fantasy Footwork album at Auckland's High Seas gallery, Crystal Magic Records is proud to announce that Fantasy Footwork will now be available for FREE online!!!!

Contains the 2010 bFM/Radioscope #1 hit single Free Time, as well as other mind-expanding slices of psych-pop magic such as Telephone, Catmaster and Planet Of The Apes. Described by Real Groove magazine's Duncan Grieve as “Fabulous”. Altered Zones said “Been blasting Fantasy Footwork pretty heavily... In my iTunes this album's genre is tagged as "fun."”

To accompany this, video footage of Golden Axe's legendary album release performance at the High Seas gallery is now up online. See the band do their thing inside a huge cardboard igloo wearing a giant top hat smoking a pipe – with your own eyes.

The band will be celebrating in style with a secret performance this weekend, keep your eyes & ears peeled for details.
