Friday Flashback: T.Rex - Jeepster

In 1977 original glam-rocker Marc Bolan's life was cut short by a tragic car accident just two weeks before his 30th birthday. This was not before he helped forge the glam rock genre with band T.Rex and left us with a string of hits so familiar from their numerous covers and uses in film and television.

This week we're featuring T.Rex's "Jeepster" from their second album Electric Warrior released in 1971, it's not their biggest hit but it was the track that lead us back to band recently so here you go - a video put together for a Glam Rock DVD.

And in light of this weeks controversy over Telecom's lame abstain for the All Blacks campaign, we couldn't not post this track as well...
