In The Background: Brian Eno - The Lovely Bones

Whilst not entirely well received, few could fault the Brian Eno effect on Peter Jackon's film-adaptation of Alice Sebold's novel The Lovely Bones. His dark ambient electronic work served the film beautifully as it set up the surreal, celestial world of teenage murder victim Susie Salmon (narrator) from where she watches over the tragic real world of her family and her murderer.
