Listen: The New Popstrangers Single - What Else Could They Do?
Friday, 16th September 2011 9:16AMLast night Flying Nun Records announced the tours, releases and signings they have got coming up in celebration of their 30th anniversary in November - renamed Nunvember for the occassion. You can check out the rest of the festivities here, but the major announcement was Popstrangers as the latest act signed to the seminal label. To celebrate this the band released a brand new single this morning 'What Else Could They Do?', which you can listen to below. Intricate and aggressive, it marks a progression from their previous two EP's and we look forward to the album and tracking their successes overseas - the band will be heading to CMJ Music Festival in NYC in October.
Popstrangers are playing their last gig before they head overseas tonight - which is also a fundraiser for their travels - and you can check out information on that here.
