Jarvis Cocker Celebrates Book Release by Going Back to School

Jarvis Cocker Celebrates Book Release by Going Back to School

Wednesday, 19th October 2011 10:26AM

In a natural progression for a person as proficient lyrically as Jarvis Cocker, he has released a book. Called Mother, Brother, Lover it's a collection of annotated lyrics and includes explanations of everything from hits like 'Common People' and 'Disco 2000' to the words for never-released tracks. In celebration of this release he returned to his Sheffield High School, The City School, to discuss the merits of the mundane with current students in assembly and treated them to a couple of early Pulp songs too. They look super interested.
