Listen: New Leonard Cohen - Show Me The Place

Wednesday, 23rd November 2011 9:40AM

There are few shows we regret missing more than Leonard Cohen's Vector Arena show last June, by all accounts it was mind blowing and his last here in New Zealand.  Oh well, at least we now we have something else Cohen to look forward to,  his new album Old Ideas set for release at the end of January. It is the 77 year old singer-songwriter's first album of new material in eight years and his twelth since 1967.  Check out first single 'Show Me The Place' and full tracklist below.

44 years after Songs of LC and leonard is still on top of his game.I like the reference to quantum theory too,"a shard of light,a particle, a wave".We are so lucky to live at the same time as Leonard, such a beautiful man.Roll on January 31.

Leonard Cohen keeps getting better. It is amazing the emotion and feeling that comes through his music. At the age of 77 his voice continues to improve and his insights into life are stunning.
