Capitalrecordings are pleased as fuck to announce the release of the much-anticipated debut mini-LP cum EP from Auckland-based three-piece Die! Die! Die! (CREC1217).
Die! Die! Die! have solidified their reputation as one of New Zealand's best new bands in the space of one short year. With an emphasis on rhythm and volume, Die! Die! Die! create a driving sound that is immediate and visceral, while retaining enough melody to keep their songs in your head long after their short set has come to a close.
Currently overseas recording their debut LP with Steve Albini (Nirvana, Pixies, Shellac) at his studio Electrical Audio in Chicago, before heading to the UK, Sweden, and wherever else they can find shows, the band will be back performing nationwide next month. "We formed the band to travel and to play lots of shows," says singer/guitarist Andrew Wilson, "that's just what we always thought good bands do."
