The Kinks planning to reunite

Well that's gonna be huge. 

The highly influential 60s group, who some say invented the riff (yeah i went there) are planning to dust off the guitars after nearly 40 years absence.

Lead singer and guitarist Ray Davies said the band's original members, which included Davies' brother Dave on guitar, Mick Avory on drums and Pete Quaife on bass plan to play together for the first time some time this year (2008)
