Live Review: Sharpie Crows

We have seen the future.
It comes in the form of Wellington band Sharpie Crows who played the most blinding live set we’ve seen in what feels like forever.
A writhing front man, contorting and squirming his way though the songs while thundering drums lead the charge. The entire audience had handed over control to this band who managed the impossible; an entire set that you could not take your eyes off.
When we confronted the font man with ‘you're crazy’ he simple commented ‘I Just like to dance’ and dance he did as too did the stage hungry crowd.
Go and see this band live, and for fucks sake buy anything they own as this is pure gold.
