With a penchant for perverse, unhinged lyricism dabbling without reservation into the sexually depraved and morally questionable; the Virginia quartet also present an original musical concept, with bass guitar shunned in favour of thunderous low end guitar and noisy sampling to compliment JR Hayes' twisted lyrical visions.
With a career spanning back over a decade, and touring Aotearoa on the momentum of their 2007 psycho-masterpiece Phantom Limb, Pig Destroyer's debut New Zealand performance will be a journey to the dark centre of the human soul not to be missed.
