Bouncy synth pop, and a cool late 80s overtone is the easiest way to introduce Over The Atlantic. But this is not their specialty or the purpose of this album.

What they do best is light little pop songs, with perfectly placed hooks and extracts. While not entirely a happy album it’s dreamy with a ‘passing by’ kind of feel.

Reference Points: Pet Shop Boys, TVOTR, early New Order, and a little bit Disasteradio on the synths.

While you might not find Dimensions  instantly throttling, it will slowly creep up on you leave its mark, or more its melody and song long after listening.
