To the point Red Red Meat sound like Nirvana, or to be precise Kurt Cobain in some of his later year softer numbers. It’s really the accent and the kind of cant-be-bothered slur.
But where this band does differ is mood. A kind of psychedelic blues you might expect from deep in the Mississippi with light pulsing electro parts, I might even say like Cat Power ended up with her big band approach.
Not a bad listen if you can get past the Cobain thing.
