I’m new to this band, having missed them the first time they were here.
I Heart Hiroshima are a three piece from Aussie with dual guitar and drums making for a really interesting sound. They remind me of Blonde Redhead in parts (before they went Genesis) and a little bit Yeah Yeah Yeahs/At The Drive In, with a feel on teen angst thrown in.
There is a nice upbeat feel to this album, like a band coming out of their dark days and seeing a peek of autumn; there is optimism in their tone.
It’s fiery, focussed and in its own way, flawless.
