Over 110 bands have now competed live at Battle of the Bands National Championship 2009 events. Some amazing new talent has been discovered at the 30 live events that have already taken place at NZ's best venues up and down the country.
The semi finals and regional finals are now taking place, music enthusiasts are urged to check out the talent on display at the last of this year's Battle events.
Regional eliminations culminate with The Regional Finals for Al's Bar, Bodega and Kings Arms; ALL on Saturday 5th December..
The National Final is at the King's Arms in Auckland on December 19th.
12 bands from Northland to Southland will be featured at the National Final.Tickets are available from www.eventfinder.co.nz. The winning band will receive a host of goodies including professional recording time, live appearanes, musical equipment and more.
This year's championship also saw the introduction of the 'people's choice' addition to the judging panel, allowing for greater involvement by the fans in determining the eventual winning line up, this new initiative proved to be a hit with audiences who enjoyed having their say...
