Nearly 188,000 young people aged 18-24 are still not enrolled to vote. With so much at stake for rangatahi this election, from decent wages and affordable housing to secure work and a fair future, we want to help change that.
That's why Stand Up, the NZCTU's under-35 network, is hosting a free evening of comedy, connection and voter enrolment in Auckland this Sunday.
Stand Up Comedy Night (18+)
Where: Double Whammy, Karangahape Road, Auckland
Date: Sunday, 4 October
Doors open 5.00pm | Show starts 5.30pm
Cost: Free, but RSVP is essential

Featuring:

We're encouraging everyone to share this with their children, whānau, friends, workmates, and any young people in their lives. Whether they're union members or not, we want as many rangatahi as possible engaged, enrolled, and ready to have their say.
There will be voter enrolment information available on the night, and attendees can stay on afterwards for a free live music gig.
Come for the laughs. Get enrolled. Get involved.
