It promises to be a rare evening as we celebrate St Patrick\s time of year with some of the finest musicians Ireland has to offer. We are delighted to host this exceptional trio on their way to headlining this year\s Canterbury Folk Festival.
Fergal Scahill (All-Ireland Fiddle Champion and All-Ireland Bodhran Champion) and Micky Martin (acclaimed Songwriter and multi-instrumentalist) have been described as: \Easily one of the most exciting duets performing in Ireland today\ . (Mairtin O\Connor, Clifden Arts Festival). They are joined by the young virtuoso Sean McCarthy (7 x All-Ireland Uilleann Pipes Champion).
In addition to soaring fiddle and pipe tunes, they will perform songs from Martin\s new album \Irish Rebel Spirit\, based on the life of Galway\s famous pistol duelist and founder of the SPCA, Humanity Dick Martin.
