Over the last two years this trio line-up (under the name of Frank Gibson Trio) has performed at the Queenstown Jazz Festival, worked with Mike Nock at the Nelson Jazz Festival and have worked regularly at the Auckland Venue CAC. This CJC experience will involve trio, duo and quartet performances of original and obscure tunes ranging from swingin bop to groovy boogaloo to musical insanity.

By joining the Creative Jazz Club one is joining a proactive community of musicians who are committed to furthering the development of quality, improvised music in NZ. As a CJC member, one gets the chance to support and be a part of the community’s growth, and the opportunity to perform as part of its creative program.
Other Member benefits include a discounted entrance fee on the door and a loyalty program at One2One Cafe throughout the week, including a 30% discount on drinks and food on CJC club nights, and the chance to go into the draw for a monthly prize of new Jazz CDs, with more to come!
Membership is $40 a year. CJC is a non profit organisation and revenue goes back into CJC.
