Renowned Canadian jazz pianist (and a recent transplant to Auckland) John Mackay makes his first club appearance in New Zealand with his quartet. They will play a combination of original material and unique interpretations of some jazz standards. Mr. Mackay is also an award-winning composer.

By joining the Creative Jazz Club one is joining a proactive community of musicians and jazz fans (non-musicians) alike, who are committed to furthering the development of quality, improvised music in NZ. As a CJC member, one gets the chance to support and be a part of the community’s growth, and the opportunity to perform as part of its creative program.

When available, Members will also have the opportunity to win jazz concert tickets.
Membership is $40 a year. CJC is a non profit organisation and revenue goes back into CJC.
