Live at Deschlers on a Tuesday night we showcase Iliyas Hafiz, Jim Clynes and Josh Parbery from the brand new outfit Driving Amber with Riley Al-Johary and Nathan Garton from melodic rock group Prolepsis, playing a sweet acoustic set to pace the mood for your working week.
Driving Amber formed in May 2010 but are no strangers to live scene. Iliyas and Jim were members of local bands The Casino Riot and Sinfura with Josh having played drums in These Four Walls and Forever Now.
With elements of classical and jazz, Prolepsis are a melodic rock band hailing from the North Shore. The band have two EPs two their name. The latest being a 4 track EP Revolve with the heavy rock driven single Reflection. Tuesday night, expect sound spans from acoustic ballads to intensified rock, which powerfully project their emphasis on emotive melodies, expressive lyrics and dynamic rhythms.
